Education is the most essential part of life and is a supreme treasure. Sikh Satsang provides facilities and guidance to kids and strives to teach the younger generation about Sikh faith and beliefs. The education of Sikh children and youth are of the highest priority. Our collective mission is to instill love for Sikh religion, its beliefs, values and customs among our youth. We accomplish this through the teachings of the Punjabi language and Gurmukhi script so that they are able to read and/or understand Sikh scriptures. In addition, our youth also learn about the Sikh history and Kirtan, the Sikh devotional music. We’re also committed to maintaining a flourishing library to provide books, materials and services which will help each person develop his or her faith in Sikhism.
Punjabi language classes are held every Sunday at Gurdwara Sahib. These classes are mainly focused on teaching Punjabi language and the history of Sikhism so our future generations can learn about our language, history and its rich culture.
Programs for the learning of Gurbani, Kirtan and tabla are held weekly.
Our youth are mobilized in helping others and learning the value and the great feeling Seva brings. Sikh youth gather weekly under the guidance of adult Sewak’s to work & plan community service projects.
